December 2007: Travel Channel’s Cash & Treasures show featured the Himalaya Mine tourmaline digging in San Diego County. Be sure to watch and also visit us at our dig sites.

December 5, 6, and 9, 2006 The Travel Channel's Cash & Treasures program featured Spectrum Sunstone Mines and several other fun places to go for treasure hunting.

Publications & Films

On April 1st & 2nd, 2006, The Travel Channel visited the Spectrum Mine and filmed a program, Cash & Treasures (http://travel.discovery.com/fansites/cash-treasures/about/about.html) on our Free Dig in which the hostess found a 31 carat RED! John Bailey (www.gemstoneartist.com) faceted a 10 carat stone from the gem, which was appraised by Bonhams & Butterfields Auctions (www.bonhams.com/us) for over $5000.00!!!!
