Written directions: Spectrum Mine is located approximately 24 miles from Plush, Oregon (which is about 50 miles northeast of a town called Lakeview in southern Oregon). These are the directions from Plush. Please make a note that we are the furthest mine in the sunstone area. Look for the TIPI. Head north out of Plush on Hogback/Co. Rd. 3-10. Four miles north of Plush the road becomes dirt. About 5 miles after the dirt begins, there will be a road and a sign that says, "sunstone". Turn there (right). This is Co.Rd. 3-11 which also leads to Hart Mountain. 1/2 mile there will be another sign that says, "sunstone". Turn there (left). You will cross over several cattle guards, and about 8 miles down the road you will see another sign that says, "sunstone 6 miles". Turn there (left). After you pass Dust Devil Mine there will be a road on the right, take that right! This road goes towards the Spectrum Mines and also the BLM Public Collection Area. You have 1.5 miles to go! You can take either your first left or second left. Follow the most traveled roads, please. You will be able to see our equipment from this point and you are driving down our "driveway", now. Follow the signs! FROM THE NORTH....If you are driving south on 395 from the northlands, you will want to take Hogback Rd. near mile marker 64 and about 20 miles later you will see a turn-off for Co. Rd. 3-11, turn left there and then follow my directions above. Have a safe trip!
